Summit Kids

Partnering with families to help children learn the gospelgrow in community, and live on mission.

WE LOVE KIDS

Jesus loves kids and so do we. Our desire is for every child to be seen, known and experience God's love while they are a part of our church family.

SUMMIT KIDS VISION

Our hope through our Summit Kids ministry is that kids would come to know and love God and that this relationship would grow and mature. We hope they grow to love God's people and his church.

Discipleship at Home

We believe parents are the primary disciplers of their kids and so we hope to partner with parents to help kids develop a personal relationship with God, know His word and love his church family. We partner with parents who are renewed by the gospel and inviting their children to know God and his redemptive mission by living it out in front of them.

Family Discipleship Resources:

Age Appropriate Teaching

We desire to partner with parents for the spiritual formation of their kids, which is why we consider our Sunday morning kids ministry as more than just childcare. We teach children gospel truths in a way they can understand and connect with.

Our Sunday morning Summit Kids ministry is for newborns through 5th grade. It is our goal to provide a safe and fun environment for kids to learn about God. Our age-appropriate curriculum includes bible lessons, games, worship and prayer for every age group!

Learn more about what to expect on Sunday mornings below!

Meaningful Community

Throughout the year, we create environments for children and families to experience community and grow together as well as celebrate milestones. Find out more about our upcoming events here!

Parent Commissioning: During our Parent Commissioning we celebrate our new babies (and families) and invite our church family to show our support by verbally committing to walk alongside the parents and children. Want to be a part of the next Parent Commissioning? Let us know here!

Kids Baptism: Has your child expressed interest in being baptized? Learn more about our process of baptism for kids by contacting us!

Multi-Generational Relationships

We work to provide deep relationships across generational lines in order for children to have people in their lives (outside of their parents) they know and trust. This happens through Sunday mornings, yearly events and as kids grow, our Boys and Girls Groups and Youth Group. Throughout our entire ministry, we have wonderful teachers who care deeply about our kids and seek to ensure a safe and engaging environment for kids to learn and have fun.

Do you have a 4th or 5th grader?

Summit Boys and Girls Group for 4th - 5th grade students meets monthly on Wednesdays from 6 to 7:30 pm at a rotating location. Contact us to learn more!
