About The
Summit Church

Core Beliefs & Doctrine

We believe the gospel is good news for every part of life—personal, relational, cultural, and eternal. It tells the true story of our relationship with the Creator God and shapes how we understand ourselves and live with others in the world.

Matthew 28:19-20

Rooted in the Great Commission,

Lived out through the Great Commandment.

Matthew 22:37-39

Planted for Denver

In 2012, a small team of friends moved from Raleigh-Durham to Denver with a shared hope: that a gospel-formed community could become a faithful presence in the heart of the city.

We began in living rooms, a coffee shop, and borrowed spaces. Eventually, we put down roots in the RiNo neighborhood, renovating an old warehouse into a space for what we prayed would continue to become a vibrant church. At the time, the area was largely post-industrial and empty—but God already had people in mind, long before it became the revitalized arts neighborhood it is today.

Our vision is to see the city of Denver experience gospel healing and hope as we live out the good news of Jesus as disciples on mission.

Leadership

We are a Jesus-ruled, elder-led, staff-operated, and member-accountable church.

Our pastors, elders, and staff are fellow members of the church—accountable to Christ as the head shepherd, and entrusted with guiding and equipping the church as its undershepherds.
