Life Together

Church isn’t a place—we’re a people.

God invites us into a deeply relational life. Spiritual growth—and our becoming who He made us to be—doesn’t happen in isolation. It unfolds over time in trusted relationships where we’re known, stretched, and encouraged as we’re gathered around God’s word.

The word church comes from the Greek for “assembly”—a gathered people. That’s why we meet on Sundays and throughout the week in deeper communities shaped by friendship, conversation, and shared practices like prayer, generosity, rest, and others that grow us in the way of Jesus.

They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.

  • Alpha is a weekly dinner and conversation space for anyone exploring faith. Over several weeks, we eat together, watch a short film, and make room for honest questions in a low-pressure environment. We host Alpha once or twice each season, and it’s open to anyone—whether you’re curious yourself or wanting to come alongside a friend who is.

Check the Alpha page to see when the next round begins.

  • City Groups are smaller communities of The Summit that gather in homes across Denver to share meals, pray, and walk with one another in the way of Jesus. They’re spaces to build friendship, grow in faith, and practice everyday discipleship alongside neighbors—the kind that slowly shapes who we’re becoming.

Each group has its own rhythm and personality, but all share the same vision: to be formed by the Word and presence of Jesus, together, for the good of our city.

If you’re newer to The Summit, joining our next Essentials class is a great first step toward finding your place in a City Group.

Step into the life of the Church

To follow Jesus is to belong to His people—learning together how to love God and live on mission in our time and place. Stepping fully into the life of the church means moving from attending to participating, from showing up to sharing life as part of the body of Christ.

If you’re ready to grow in that kind of shared life with us, Essentials is the best next step. It’s a one-afternoon class where we explore who we are, what we believe, and how we practice life with Jesus together in Denver. Through Essentials, you’ll discover how to join this community in friendship, service, and spiritual growth.
